NRI Quota Admission Procedure
Eligibility
- NRI (Non-Resident Indian), PIO (Person of Indian Origin), and OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) students are eligible for admission to SMCW under the NRI quota.
- They must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
- They must have a valid passport and visa.
- They must meet NEET-UG eligibility criteria as per MCI/DGHS/MCC guidelines.
Application Process
- NRI, PIO, and OCI students can apply for admission to SMCW through the Symbiosis International (Deemed University) Undergraduate Admissions Portal (SIU UGP Portal).
- The application form is available online from the month of January.
- The completed application form, along with the required documents, must be submitted online by the specified deadline.

- Photocopy of NEET-UG admit card and score card
- Photocopy of 10+2 or equivalent examination mark sheet
- Photocopy of passport and visa
- Photocopies of NRI, PIO, or OCI card
- Two passport-size photographs
- Demand draft in favor of “Symbiosis Medical College for Women” for the application fee
Selection Process
