NRI Admission Procedure at SLS Pune

Symbiosis Law School (SLS) Pune offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes, including a five-year Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) programme and a one-year Master of Laws (LL.M.) programme. NRI (Non-Resident Indian), PIO (Person of Indian Origin), and OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) students are eligible for admission to these programmes under the NRI quota.

The NRI admission procedure at SLS Pune is as follows:

  1. Application: NRI, PIO, and OCI students can apply for admission to SLS Pune through the Symbiosis International (Deemed University) Undergraduate Admissions Portal (SIU UGP Portal) or the Symbiosis International (Deemed University) Postgraduate Admissions Portal (SIU PG Portal).
  2. Eligibility: NRI, PIO, and OCI students must meet the following eligibility criteria:
    • They must be an NRI, PIO, or OCI cardholder.
    • They must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
    • They must have a valid passport and visa.
  3. Admission Test: NRI, PIO, and OCI students must also take the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) or the Symbiosis All India Admission Test (AIAT), depending on the programme they are applying for.
  4. Personal Interview (PI): Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview (PI). The PI will assess the candidate’s communication skills, legal aptitude, and overall suitability for the programme.
  5. Merit List: The final merit list will be prepared based on the weightage given to the SLAT/AIAT score, PI score, and academic performance.
